Our Spacecraft

We were given the challenge to make a spacecraft and decorate it . Our spacecraft is destined to travel to the moon. The spacecraft also has a Trampoline room, our own bed rooms in the control room and in the control room we have our own chairs.

The spacecraft has been built with white concrete. I worked with Manaia and Charlie. I thought it was really fun and challenged me a little, I work really well with Manaia and Charlie. Next time I would change nothing but add a bathroom and make it a small bit BIGGER.  The R.I.S.E value we used was Resilience because when something went wrong we would try again.

My Six Sentence Story

Once upon a time there where 4 sneaky girls, there names are Charli Taylor Emilie and Manaia. They lived in a camper van close to a stream of water. Also they all love to explore in New Zealand around the country. But there was a big problem in the morning Emilie was sleeping so Manaia Charli and Taylor went on a walk soon later they got lost in a spot they have never go in. Charli and Manaia were worried but Taylor was not. Emilie woke up to find a trail of french fries leading into the trees she followed it to find them Taylor hafe in tears because she had no more fry's  .

About My Friend Taylor

Her long blondish brown hair is always in a high neat pony tail and her shiny blue eyes are glossy. Surprisingly she's taller than me but my birthday is the day before hers. Shes nearly 11 and we meet at the age of 5, crazy how long we have been friends for. French fries are her life she loves them so much and could probably live on them if she wanted to OH and don't forget about pandas she has them every where. She even has them on one of her walls, pillows, blankets and well every where. Okay back to french fries, she is having a french fry platter. One last fact she love sport and if you meet her you would be friends with her. 😁

This is my name board I made it today and I'm very happy with it. In the dark it looks like it says ''CAL" its sort of weird but really cool. The glittery letters are the ones that don't say CAL but the glittery ones feel like sandpaper. I got it for my birthday least year.

My Lockdown Singing Lesson

  😃 My Lockdown Singing Lesson 😃

At school every Monday in the morning Manaia, Violet and I do singing lessons with Jenny. Now that we are in lockdown we cant meet at school in the music room so we did a online lesson today. It was so fun. On the call it was only me and Jenny so I sang a solo. 

We sang Bad habits by Ed Sheeran and Cover me in sunshine by Pink and Willow it was so cool to see Jenny online. We started with some bubbles to warm up. then we went on to do the songs.

I did the call in my room so I could have some quiet space to sing . It was so nice of her to do a 20 or 30 minute lesson with me while we are at home and she said we might be doing other calls through lockdown. Thats my Lockdown singing lesson hope you enjoyed

1000s of years ago three important moments happened.The three important moments are the Early polynesians arriving,the Treaty of Waitangi signing and the Early Settlers arriving. And it all happened here in New Zealand.

The Early Polynesian Navigators who came to New Zealand in the year 1300 arrived in the north island on a double hulled vaka. On their way there to Aotearoa they used stars, water currents, sun, moon and clouds. When they got to New Zealand they killed moa for food,clothes and they also used the moa egg like a container.

The Treaty of Waitangi was signed in Waitangi New Zealand on the 4th of February 1840. Did you know Hone Heke chopped down the British flag 4 times because he was not happy with the Treaties agreement ? William Hobson translated the Treaty into Maori but he only had one night. There were two Treatises, the English and the Maori both said different things like the British one said that they would take their Sovereignty. The Maori one said they would have Governorship. And these two words mean something different.

The Early European Settlers came here in the year 1860 on a boat; it took them 6 weeks to get to Aotearoa. ( What a long trip that would have been ) Did you know the boy got to do the outside work and the girls had to do the inside work? So unfair to girls. Some came here for more land, farms or the Otago gold rush. But only lucky people found gold there.

And it all happened here in New Zealand in different years and different places. That's what makes us special. WE ARE AMAZING !!!

What would you be famous for?

What would you be famous for.

If I could be famous for anything I would be famous for acro dancer because I love dance and do acro. I like to dance in a group but i also like dance solo to just feel the music. BUT if I got the chance to go in a dance composition I would invite my family and friends to come and watch me dance. If you could be famous for anything what would it be?

Today the animals have escaped from the a zoo and stole someones van. They have been planning for weeks to berst open the cage and run. The van was racing down the street at top speed. them and 2 other zoos had been planning to escape over the phone for 2 weeks.
