  1. Kia ora Charli, this is Kieryn from the Summer Learning Journey.
Thank you for participating in the Summer Learning Journey and sharing with us your culture.
Like you, I am a European Pakeha as well. Both of my parents were born in New Zealand, however my ancestors moved here from Europe a long time ago.
Were both of your parent’s born in New Zealand?
It is so lovely to hear how your friends, family and Maori culture are so important to you.
Family and friends are definitely the two things which I treasure the most in my life. I could live in a big fancy house and have anything I could ever want, but if I didn’t have my family or friends I know that I would never be truly happy.
I thoroughly enjoy spending time with my family and friends, and find that the best days I have are often spent surrounded by all of the people who care about me.
What are your favourite things to do with your friends and family?
What kinds of things do you do to celebrate your Maori culture?
It would be awesome if you could reply to this comment and let me know!
    Nga mihi
